How to compete in the Disney World Half Marathon if it is full?
I was surprised to see the other day that the Walt Disney Half Marathon World is full of January 9, 2010. Does anyone know if there's any way he can still compete even if the record is closed? Is there a pilot sees his / her registration fee? Thanks!
If you want to be "legal" and well in the race, look for leukemia and lymphoma, the local chapter and see if run can join. You may need to raise the money to run, but join groups such as or something similar may be your best option at this time to run the race yet. Go to your local running store to find out about these groups. If you do not worry about being "legal" that can function as an outlaw (someone who jumps in a race in the beginning, without a number or a registered broker), but I'm willing to bet that will be captured and asked to leave Disney security is pretty tight. Good luck and hopefully find a way to run! OH, well, just a thought, you can always post on Craigslist to see if anyone is willing to sell your record to you if it can not be run or something. You never know, people can register, but something happens and you can not run. Not sure if a record can be transferred or, but worth looking into!
