Best Disney World Resorts For Adults

Need information on the best way to visit disney world in florida?

We are taking two adults, granny, two little kids and a 20 yr old son. Is there a better economical way or best resort to go to with a large family? I would like some information from people that have actually travels with large group like us. Are there any resorts that are kid friendly and that might have savings for having them?

I always recommend staying at WDW resort hotels. A few of the hotels have larger rooms/villas that sleep 5-8 people. The major advantages of staying on-site are:
1) you get transportation to/from your hotel from the airport (it is called magical express—they will even take your luggage directly from baggage claim and deliver it to your room later so you don’t have to wait—you check into your hotel and go straight to the park if you want)
2) transportation to/from the parks (either by boat or bus)
3) earlier or later admission to the parks than other guests (each park has days they either stay open later or open earlier for resort guests only. you can find out which parks are doing this during your stay on the website).

The Disney hotels can be a bit more expensive, but I think they are well worth it. They have 3 price classes of hotels—you can look at them on the website.

Also, the last 2 times I went, I purchased the optional meal plan. I think it was a great option….it may or may not work out to what you would normally spend on food, but it allows you to go to some really great restaurants that you might not have chosen to go to if you were paying out of pocket.

Lastly, I have always found that going in the fall is by far the cheapest time to go.
