I need help on prices for Disney World?

My 3 friends and I are planning to go to Disney World possibly for spring break, like 4 or five days at the parks. We would spend 1 day at Magic Kingdom, 1 day at Epcot, 1 day at Animal Kingdom, 1 day at MGM Studios, then on the last day park hop to see things we missed or want to re-visit and such.
We can stay at a hotel outside of Disney and take a shuttle to and from so i don’t need to know about the lodging prices at Disney.

What would be the best package deal for us so it wont be to high priced. I know its Disney ha ha

And I know about the food costs too, like $10 a meal then drinks and souvenirs really want to do this trip because my friend at my school is a German foreign exchange student and I think it would be great for her to go. We are all 18 or 17.. must we be 21 to rent a hotel room? If so, I can find another person then please add this information to the costs.

If you plan to stay offsite, not in Disney hotel then there is really no package or you can try expedia.com or travelocity and see if offsite hotels comes in a package. Not all offsite hotels provide transportation to Disney and not all of those who do, provide free transportation. All offsite transportation is scheduled, meaning no midday breaks. You will also have to pay for transportation to/from airport $30 a person for round trip.

Also when you decide on hotel read all the info, sometimes they charge hotel fee at check in that is not included when you book.

Compare prices for Disney hotels as well. They do run specials all the time and you may get room only discount, depending on your dates. Value resort with discount may come out very close to offsite resorts with Disney transportation. Very cheap offsite resorts simply do not have transportation. In case if you go with Disney hotel, you can add tickets at the time you book or simply buy them at check in, same price. The good thing about Disney resort is transportation all day long and free transportation to/from airport as well as extra hours and some other perks. So do not disregard Disney hotels, compare and count your expenses first.

Disney hotels can be booked by person 18 yo and older. Every resort Disney or not has maximum of 2 adults (18 and up) in room with maximum of 4 people overall, except villas, condos and some rooms at some resorts. That means if you have more then 2 people older18 and older, they will add extra fee per day, per person.

If all I said sounds extremely complicated, it did to me when I was planing my very first trip, just go with travel agent. I suggest to read Allearsnet.com and Mousesavers.com for more info and you will find info on travel agency who specialize in Disney travel(not every TA is knowledgeable in Disney matter).

As for tickets, if you want to hop you will need a hopper ticket. Hopper option is $54 more per person, per ticket no matter how many times you hop, once or every day. I would suggest to go with base ticket without hopper option since you may use it only on the last day. If you decide you want it, you can add it right before you hop at any park, will cost you same.
