I have an idea of what these major companies should do?

Disney,nickelodeon,cartoon network,warner bros. Should re release a colection of everything they’ve done before 2005.hey arnold complete all their complete series,films,animated shorts. And call it the goldne years collection.not just animation,even stevens,all that,kenan and kel,Drake and josh jett jackson,kim possible.all its animated shorts.I just think they would make major profit doing this,it would be bought so quickmidk if someone steals this idea.I just think this should be done.the price should be rereasonable 250$ for a set from each company sounds correct to me.it shouldn’t exceed 800$ but I mean when you realize all the stuff your gonna get its worth it.question is,would you pay for this and if so how much? Also,do you think its a good idea? And it should be released in dvd,and bluray format

Basically, the companies would be cannibalizing their show-by-show dvd/blu ray sales. For example, each season of Hey Arnold sells for about $40 – assuming there are 4 seasons, that’s $160. Doesn’t leave much else to get to your $250 goals (two more seasons of another show). Also, having a mixture of things might not induce people to buy a high priced set – if I am in the market for Hey Arnold, I may not want a set that includes Angry Beavers, Real Monsters, Rugrats, etc. I am sure that each of these companies have large marketing departments and have done market studies on just this topic. What would probably work better would be to take the four seasons say of Hey Arnold, sell them separately for the $40 and offer a complete collection for say $125 – people get a discount over buying them separately and the savings in production/packaging/marketing probably save the company that $35 differential so they don’t lose much.
