Do movies and movie trailers inspire you?
As a writer, artist, or poet, I was wondering, if movies or movie trailers for blockbuster movies inspired you to create something completely on your own, or to write a fan fiction. For me, movies inspire me a lot, as well as movie trailers. Is it the same for anyone else? I mainly write fan fiction, (or I’m trying to).

Just a small list of movies that inspire me.
actually i get it the other way round. i’m in uni studying film, and like to get my inspiration from books and art. i feel if i get inspiration from other films i create plot-lines and emotions that have already been well played out. if i instead take my inspiration from a different medium i feel i put in my own emotion from the ones i feel when receiving that medium. one book that did this well for me was suzanne collins – hunger games. although a rubbish book it provoked brilliant emotions which i was able to use in one of my short films, putting the characters from my films in similar situations to those in the book.
