I want a career in Disney. What jobs are there?
I’ve always wanted to dress up as one of the characters and sign autographs, but you’d have to live by one of the parks to do that. I’ll be living either in Dallas or somewhere in Colorado. What kinds of things are there to do working for the Disney company other than acting and singing in a place away from the parks like Dallas and Colorado? I have no idea what I wanna do. But when I think of a career in Disney I think of their thing DisneyQuest. That place was so cool. Maybe run a Disney store? Maybe teach kids how to draw the characters? I don’t know if you can do this but I’d love to do something around children. What kinds of careers are there? I’m aware of their programs they’re just too long for my schedule. And this would be my main job that makes me a living so the pay has to be decent.
I have a friend that works in one of the Main street USA gift shops at Disneyland.
The pay is not all that hot there, specially for Suthern California. You and a roommate working there could afford a one bedroom apartment maybe 5-10 miles away.
The higher paying Disney jobs are in Burbank.
