Will there every be a Disney/Pixar Cars 2?
I was wondering if they will ever come up with a Cars 2? My son is totally obsessed and I am honestly sick of watching it. I would love to see another one…even if it is just released on DVD. It seems really popular…the merchandise has quite a following at least.
Not in the next three years at least. Pixar releases one movie each year and the movies that they current have lined up are Wall-E (2008), Up (2009) and Toy Story 3 (2010). I read a story a couple months back that said that the 2011 release was going to be Cars 2, but I can’t find the article anymore.
I found this article that suggests that Cars 2 may be released in 2011, but it is not the same article because the one that I read actually said Cars 2 would be Pixar’s 2011 movie:
