Do you think that Cartoons went downhill?
I think so since shows like Rocko’s Modern Life, Hey Arnold, Jackie Chan Adventures, Swat Cats: the Radical Squadron, Spider-Man: the Animated Series, Batman: the Animated Series, Legend of the Dragon, X-Men: the Animated Series, Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, and basically all of the shows from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. Animated tv shows are not that excited anymore and waking up on a Saturday morning was worth it. Now my 13 year old brother (who liked the older tv shows since he was 4) and I find ourselves watching shows on YouTube and DVD collections. I think they went downhill in 2007. The Old Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and even the old Disney were the greatest. We also liked Fox Kids, Jetix, and Toon Disney. We love Boomerang and watch it more than any tv station ever. Do you guys feel the same?
yea i feel the same. im a real 90s kid, and grew up watching cartoons from the 80s and 90s. i feel like cartoon these days are seriously dumbed down. back in my day, every single cartoon, no matter how trivial, taught us a lesson. even things as simple as using your imagination and stuff like that. cartoon these days are so mind numbingly stupid. theyre even beginning to incorporate themes such as teen crushes and dating, which were never a focus of 80s and 90s cartoons.
