Other than anything Disney, any favorite vacation spots for a 7 year old and her parents?
We’re planning on doing something this summer. We may rent a house with other family members in or near Emerald Isle, NC, as we did last year. Nevertheless, I thought it would be fun to hear about places other people like.
Where have you gone with, or while you were, about 7 years old and loved it? We’d prefer it to be somewhere within a 12 hour drive from the Washington, DC area. (Sorry if you’re from another continent, but we can’t afford to visit. Have you heard about the U.S. economy?)
I’d like water activities, my wife would like it to be outside of a major city, and my daughter would like to be able to do kid things–swim, run, play, etc.

Umm…well i suggest maybe a camping trip? Because to me disney is getting extrmely old and boring. Or maybe to a relatives house anf vsist. Show her some of ur hometown and where u what u grew up on. That should be fun!
