Throwing an upscale graduation party?
I will be throwing my graduation party for my doctoral degree. I want to have it in an upscale location like a golf club so it will be catered and the theme is How Sweet it is… I plan on having a candy bar and a DJ. My question is I want to make it family friendly what shall I do to incorporate the kids? If nothing can be done I am having a party weekend and will maybe have a party day at a Disney Resort. Thank you for your help.

I’m not asking for decorations I have that covered…I’m asking at this party how do I make it more family friendly???
I have found it almost impossible to throw a party where the adults and kids have fun together. If the kids don’t get to congregate and are forced to stay with the adults, everyone’s stress levels rise. I think you should hire someone (a nanny type person) to watch the kids and provide them with a separate area to play while the adults dance, drink, and do whatever it is that they’ll be doing.
I am not suggesting that you ban them from the adult area so of course they should be able to go back and forth freely but do provide them with games and supervision. Depending on the games (video for example), you may lose a few adults to the kid area.
