disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge?
has any one every been to this resort hotel? what was it like? what is a long flight like with a 22month old? He will not have his own seat, are we making a huge mistake? Flying from East midlands airport, to Orlando.
I’d like to know if any other people have been crazy enough to do this with an under 2 year old?

We just came back with our 2 year old (we did Manchester to Sanford)
My tip is to get him his own pull along flight bag and fill it with a couple of sticker books, some new reading books, some paper, plastic scissors and sticky tape.
I also got some cheap toys from a car boot sale that it didn’t matter if he lost them.
These kept him interested for a while and then he had a nap and then he walked up and down the aisle for about 2 hours !
Coming back we brought our own meal for him and he ate it and fell asleep within an hour of take off and didn’t wake up until we landed.
He will be fine …. it’s you that will be exhausted ! Agree with your partner to share the wrestling duties and try not to get too worked up – remember Orlando is a family destination and most people on the flight will have kids with them and they will be tolerant of any misbehaviour. Let him walk about and meet people.
