Disney after hours until 1am?
Hi!! I have asked a couple of questions about Disney previously, and everyone has been INCREDIBLY helpful. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Another question I have is that we are thinking of arriving at Disney this May 2nd. The Magic Kingdom is open after hours until 1am. We are getting the park hopper passes, and are staying onsite. We will probably be arriving in Orlando around noon. Would you recommend going to Epcot or MGM first, and then heading to the Magic Kingdom at night? Are you allowed to enter the Magic Kingdom after the park closes but during the extra hours? Has anyone hung out at the Magic Kingdom until 1am?? Sounds REALLY fun.

You can enter the park during extra magic hours.
Personally, since it is your first day, I would just stick to one park if it were me. You’ll most likely be tired, and since you are planning to stay up until 1, one less aggravation of changing parks might be very appreciated. Plus, all the parks will be at their bulk crowds by noon, anyway, so it’s not like you’ll be getting some great advantage by going somewhere else.
Epcot is really beautiful at night, so I would definitely make time to see it at night. Hollywood Studios (used to be called MGM) is not necessarily any better at night, so that’s not a bad choice.
Yeah, if you can make it to 1, it will be a really neat experience, because most people don’t make it all the way.
