i am selling disney watches in my ebay store and ebay wants proff these are not counterfit items how can I do?
I purchased these from a legitimate jewelry auction site but ebay asks me if I have certificates of authenticity.The items have the @DISNEY trademark on the case back and the box the same.Some of the items have the words authentic on them but is that sufficent?
You could send eBay a copy of the sales slip from the auction and see if that satisfies them. Otherwise, you may have to see where the auction got them and follow up to see where they originally came from.
Counterfeiters will make their goods look as legit as possible, including trademarks, the word authentic, etc. Actually, eBay is doing you a service. You don’t want to be selling counterfeit items anywhere. You could get into legal trouble if you did. Disney defends is trademarks (and profits) pretty strictly. You don’t want to face a lawsuit from them.
