Walt Disney World Resort question?
My family and I are traveling to Orlando this August with a 5-day hopper pass. We will be staying in the military Resort ‘Shades of Green”. Though the hotel isn’t owned by the Walt Disney company, it is on the WDW campus. We were wondering if we still get Disney resort privileges, like the Extra Magic Hours?
One “top contributor” wrote that the bus stops at 3/4 other hotels and drops you off where it is a much further walk. NO THEY DON’T.
Another “top contributor” wrote that guests staying at SOG can get the disney dining plan. Sorry…only guests staying at a disney owned/operated hotel can participate in the dining plan.
A guest staying at SOG can take advantage of EMH and disney transportation. SOG buses run on a schedule that varies with the resort occupancy and park hours. You receive a schedule when you check in. If you need to get back to your resort at a time other than scheduled, you can always take a bus, boat, or rail to the polynesian and either walk(it’s not that far) or spend a couple of bucks for a cab to SOG.
