Disney Magic Your Way Ticket Prices

So I’m going to Walt Disney World for the second time, and I need your advice on something?

this time we wanna also go to Universal Orlando for a DAY to both parks, is this enough? and we don’t wanna spend much money so maybe we won’t get the WaterPark option, is this a good idea or is it better or funner if we go to the waterparks? this time and we might not even get park hopper…because my mom says its a waste and we’re gonna end up going to one park per day…like last year, except for one day. so its probably gonna be 6-day-magic-your-way-base +1 day 2 park ticket at Universal Orlando..is this good? do we need more days, park hopper, water park, etc.?reasons, comments, ideas, etc. anyythinggg! ….OH! and how much is the price difference when you upgrade to park hopper instead of base ticket?

A day and a half is better for Universal and Islands of Adventure, especially since the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened not so long ago in Islands of Adventure. It’s going to be crazy busy so there will be long lines for everything. But you could probably do both parks in one day if you just want to go on a few rides in each park. Here are the rides you don’t want to miss:

ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (lines WILL be super super long though, so you may have to skip it)
Incredible Hulk
Spiderman
Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls
Popeye and Bluto’s Bilge Rate Barges
Jurassic Park

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS
Revenge of the Mummy
Shrek 4D
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit
Simpsons
Men in Black

You might be able to do all those in one day.

As for the WDW Water Park option, don’t get it. It’s not worth it, unless you plan on going to both water parks AND Disney Quest. If you don’t get the option, then there’s no pressure to actually go to a water park. And if you ultimately decide to go to one of the water parks, you can just pay a day’s admission when you get there.

I always recommend the Park Hopper. It’s good so that you can leave the park if you get tired, and then return later if you want. Also, if you get bored of one park, you can easily just leave and go to another one. But if you went last year without the Park Hopper and you were fine, then go without it again.

I doubt you’ll need more days. There are four parks plus water parks so you’ll be fine.

The price per day for a 6-day WDW pass is $38.50 for people ages 10+. If you want the Park Hopper option, the price will go up to $47.17 per day.
