can today’s DVD players play DVDs from other formats like Region 2 or PAL?
i am really wanting to watch a series that use to come on the Disney Channel called Ocean Girl, and it is only in the format of Region 2/PAL. i havent found it in region 1 format yet. where could i get a dvd player that plays another format?? thanx!!
Not all DVD players can play different DVDS from the regions they are intended. You need to look for a DVD advertised as “Multi-Region” this will allow you to watch DVDs regardless of their region.
You can pick these up at most electronic stores, but you will pay a bit more for them than regular players. Be sure to tell the sales guy what you’re after. If you don’t feel like shopping in person, theres always Amazon.
