The Little Mermaid Broadway Musical?
I’m seeing the Little Mermaid on Broadway this wednesday. However, I just realized that I am seeing it on the last day of previews (opening day was pushed to Thursday, the 10th, because of the strike) and now I am a bit nervous. I saw The Pirate Queen during previews and it was good but it was long and there was actually a problem where a guy got stuck in ropes and they had to stop the production, have all of the actors get off the stage and help him and then restart the musical at a slightly earlier point of the scene. It’s the only time I’ve ever saw anything in previews and the only time anything like that has happened. The Little Mermaid is one of my favorite Disney movies and I really didn’t want to risk seeing it in previews.
Has anyone else seen it on Broadway yet (and if so, when)? Did you enjoy it? Was it too long? Did anything go wrong?
Also, does anyone know if I can get money back on my tickets? I payed for it when it was not suppose to be in previews. Who do I contact?
The show will be frozen on the last day of previous, so don’t be nervous. I have heard different things about the show, but you need to see it and decide for yourself.
Haven’t heard of any calamaties in preview – go and enjoy yourself. They will be doing the same show they’re going to be doing when it opens, believe me.
