How much will I spend at Disney?

I am driving from Tampa. We plan on eating breakfast before we go at Mcdonalds. We want to eat a light lunch and maybe some ice cream later in the day and then have a nice dinner. I would like to get my son some Mickey ears and myself a Christmas decoration. Is 400 enough? The tickets are going to be like 180

Aw- you are too cute- Mickey ears for the son and a Xmas ornament for you- I don’t know why that makes me giggle but it does- I guess because it seems like you are very simple and not one of these people who loads up an entire airplane with all kinds of stuff like those big 4 foot Mickey Mouses!
Make sure you let them know you want to resident rate- it is cheaper and applies to all FLoridians-McDonald’s is a smart choice- just don’t hit the one that is ON Disney property- there’s actually two- one at Downtown Disney and one near Wide World of Sports- they inflate their prices.
Lunch- depending on what park you go to- there are lots of simple sandwhich and burger joints- probably run you $12-15 a person- but the food isn’t all that bad.
Dinner- try BOMA at Animal Kingdom Lodge- perfect for kids and adults- it’s a buffet with all kinds of interesting food options- but many basics for the kids. Make reservations though- it is very popular and a little pricey- but won’t break the bank- well worth your one little splurge- make sure if you get there when there is still some daylight out you can walk out onto the savannah and see some of the animals.
Or try any of the character dinners- cost about the same as BOMA but you get to eat with the characters. You will want reservations for one of those too- there are many throughout the resort.

Don’t forget to get your son’s name embroirdered on the back of his hat- I think it’s only an extra $5-$8- but I could be wrong!
