As soon as girls are born disney starts brain washing them.
you must grow up to be a princess marry a prince live in a castle and live happilly ever after. thats what all there movies are about. The prince always saves the day. I bought my daughter some dress up clothes the shoes played here comes the bride she is 2!!!!!! also whats with one of the parents dying in every movie? think about it cinderella- mother
ariel-mother nemo-mother peterpan – never never land all kids have no mother. Even new movies like the game plan (disney movie) mother is dead. air bud -no father check it out its weird.

Wow. I think you are right on with this theory! There are movies that are much better I think and encourage independence instead of “fairy tale thinking”. ( Maybe Mulan, and some more recent movies with female heroines who use their minds). But yea, I think that most Disney sort of movies ( Cinderella, Snow White, Mermaid, the list goes ON) encourage a certain strereotype and set of expectations that are unrealistic and dont exactly encourage a female to reach her OWN full potential. Right on !
