How can my wife and I save money on eating out at Walt Disney World this March?
My wife and I are planning on vacationing in Walt Disney World for a week (7 days, 6 nights) this March. With my busy work schedule I don’t have the time to drive all the way there (I’m in Arkansas) so we’re planning on flying to WDW. Obviously, we can’t take food with us on the plane (can we?) and when we get there I don’t know if there will be a grocery store close to our hotel (we’re planning on staying in WDW in one of their budget hotels). I don’t want to spend $40 per day on one sit-in meal, one fast-food meal, and a snack.
Summed up: Taking a plane, how can we save $$$ on food at WDW? Look for discounted coupons? Smuggle beef jerky onto the plane? Thanks alot for your help!
Pack nutri grain bars or granola bars into your checked luggage and plan on having those for breakfasts each day. That way it is quick so you can get on your way and will save you a ton of money. While the character breakfasts can be fun, I could just never justify spending $20 a person for eggs and pancackes. Save your meals out for lunch and dinner. You do have the food court at the All Star or Pop Century, where you can pick up snacks or meals.
