another basis of an original poem, this is based on where I'm from Ella Lyon I am in the morning black coffee pancakes and scrambled eggs I am of the Bradford pear with its large bar mono-tips and the perfect chair built in I am of the strong cardboard box on summer evenings with doors designed just for my size that I train Thomas dress up and baby-doll and the song of me cleaning toilets early Disney films a new one every night I animal crackers and big blue book on the virtues of the stories inside me now I'm in the heart of getting and taking kilometers inches mornings and late nights I'm grandmothers house and butter cookies and beer thousand piece puzzle witch I am friendly greetings and farewells longer than the last flash minutes of sign language "I Love You" what do you think of this?
I love this. This is a great poem and I identify with it so much. Reminds me of my childhood … well DUH:) I like the cardboard hand, and Walt Disney movies, and animal crackers. GREAT:)
