Why does the Disney company hate us? (Beverly Hills Chihuahua… why?)?

I’m very happy that they released such animated goodness like Beauty and the Beast, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, and the upcoming WALL-E (which will no doubt be awesome… a lonely robot = automatically awesome, re: Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy).
But, how the heck is Disney going to slip in something like this into their line of production, which will be primarily consumed by little children and their unwitting parents who likely won’t know what’s ahead of them?
Did I hear correctly, they named the main character papie? And is the movie seriously called “Beverly Hills Chihuahua?” This is mexploitation gone horribly, horribly wrong!
hehehe..Phil, I hate to say this, but I will be one of those parents who has to sit through this film. I’m not sure if they hate us, but they are geniuses. Think about it, how is it they can come up with garbage and make it gold? Anyone who can make money off of these movies to me is brilliant. I predict that this movie will makes tons of money based on parents wanting a day out during the heat that is September. Plus, kids can’t say no to talking animals, period. They love them.
My opinion, looks ridiculous. But I’m sure once it comes out on DVD, my daughter will want it. =)
