In need of help to find this wedding dress!?

I need help finding a specific wedding dress!?
OKay, so I found the wedding dress of my dreams, and its WAAAAY too much where I found it online (houseofbrides.com) they are selling it for $3200 which is outrageous!
I was thinking of sites that may help like Bizrate.com but it’ll take more than me to narrow it down.
SO, I really need your guys help to find a lower price for this dress! Whoever can, gets 10 points!

I had a similar problem with my wedding dress (too expensive in the first place I found it). My solution was to go to the designer’s website and find their list of locations that carry that line. In your case, you can find the store lists at http://www.disneybridal.com/stores/index.html . I’m not sure where you’re from, but don’t let the distance limit you. I live in California, tried the dress on in a shop in Ohio (was on vacation there), then eventually bought it from a place in Michigan (they had the best price) over the phone and had it shipped to me. Different stores can have very different prices on the same dress, based on things like their buying power (are they a small shop or a large one?) or the local business taxes and regulations (sales tax can be high in some states/cities).

When you call a store that carries the designer’s line, have the style number and your size ready, ask if they carry it, and ask how much it costs. Some of the larger stores may even have websites that can give you a price, but always call the store for the final word. The price may have changed since they last updated the site.

To find out what size you are for this dress (every designer will have slightly different sizes, so you don’t necessarily buy the size you are for regular clothes), get someone to measure you at the bust, waist, and hips. Almost any dress shop that carries the designer can look up the sizing for your dress and tell you what size you’d need based on your measurements. Also, if you’re tall, some designers will have an option to lengthen the dress for an extra fee, although with the large amount of fabric in the bottom of your dress you probably wouldn’t need to worry about it.

A final note: don’t be afraid of getting the dress altered! Find a good tailoring company (or person) who has experience working with wedding dresses and get it fit to you. Make sure you have your final measurements taken while wearing the undergarments you plan to use. Strapless bras that come down to the waist or hips (corset-like) can change your measurements a lot! You can always buy a size larger and get it taken in, but it can be difficult to get a too-small size taken out.
