Disney Wedding Pavilion Cost

Does anyone know how much a basic Disney Pavilion Wedding costs?

My New Fiancee & I are curious to know about how much a basic Disney Pavilion Wedding costs.

Well, to start off, congratulations on the new engagement!

I would also love to be married at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion. It’s so beautiful. My boyfriend and I always stay right next door at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, so I think it would be an excellent location.

Disney’s Wedding Pavilion has a site rental fee of $2,500.00+, but that’s just the site rental fee. Realistically, one can expect to pay a few tens of thousands of dollars even on the least exstravagant Disney Fairy Tale Wedding. But here’s some more information about the costs of weddings at Walt Disney World…

“Overall Wedding Minimum Expenditure:

* A minimum of $10,000 for events Monday through Thursday excluding required tax and gratuities.
* A minimum of $15,000 for events Friday and Sunday, excluding required tax and gratuities.
* A minimum of $20,000 for Saturday events, excluding required tax and gratuities.
* Food & beverage, flowers, décor, music, entertainment, photography/videography services, special transportation, spa services, our ceremony sites fee and any other wedding day services apply toward reaching or exceeding this minimum provided by the Walt Disney World Resort and Disney?s Fairy Tale Weddings.
* During certain seasons a higher or lower minimum may apply. Please ask your wedding consultant for more information regarding those times.

Food & Beverage Minimum Expenditure:

* For all locations except Disney’s Grand Floridian & Spa, a minimum of $75.00 per person, plus 20% service charge and 6.5% sales tax will apply to functions beginning prior to 2:00pm and a minimum expenditure of $100.00 per person and plus 20% service charge and 6.5% sales tax will apply to functions beginning after to 2:00pm.
* Disney’s Grand Floridian & Spa has a minimum food & beverage expenditure of $100.00 per person, plus 20% service charge and 6.5% sales tax will apply to functions beginning prior to 2:00pm and a Minimum expenditure of $125.00 per person and plus 20% service charge and 6.5% sales tax will apply to functions beginning after to 2:00pm.

Room Night Minimum:

* Based on your number of guests, you must guarantee a minimum number of hotel room nights at WALT DISNEY WORLD owned and operated Resorts. A minimum of 25 room nights is required (bride & groom accommodations can go towards this minimum). Your Disney Wedding Consultant will be happy to discuss these minimums in detail to ensure your comfort level.”

Definitely check out the Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding website, though. It’s been recently updated, and you can pretty much add everything you want for your wedding to a “shopping cart” and get a rough estimate of how much it’ll cost. Also, you should order the free Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings DVD.
