Is a hotel room more expensive the more people in your party?
I’m looking into a resort hotel in Orlando that offers a 3 bdrm suite. I have a wedding I have to attend (November 5th, 2011 at Disney World) and am looking for a more luxurious hotel without breaking the bank and found a decent deal. Here’s my situation…
Fiance and I are booking airfare+hotel together and the rates we got quoted at are for just the two of us. My parents and sister live in Atlanta and are driving down to Orlando (they’re looking for a place to stay). My question is, if I book this 3 bdrm suite, will it be more expensive if I’m letting my parents and sister stay with us, when they’re not included in our package that we book?
Most hotels prices are based on double occupancy, meaning that 2 people are allowed in the room without an additional charge. So yes, there will likely be a small fee for your parents and sister to stay in the suite
