Disney World Job Waiting List?
I’m a college student at Rosen College of Hospitality Management with the dream of having a legit career at WDW. So, of course I want to start working there from the bottom (or whatever they give me)! I went in a week ago and had an amazing interview. My recruiter asked me like, one question and then told me I’d be great employee but there were no open entry level positions. And so the dreaded wait-list it is!
I know it’s still very early but I was wanting to know about how long the wait list has been lately or perhaps, given that Halloween and Christmas are around the corner, about how long might it take?
Again, I know it’s early but I’m extremely excited and, again, I’m a college student so a job would be very wonderful.
Oh, and it’s for a part time job and I think he put me down for attractions and quick service food and beverage!

It really depends on their needs, no one can really determine how long. However, unlike most other jobs, Disney does not necessarily find itself needing more employees to cover Christmas and Halloween. Instead, their busiest season is the summer season. I would suggest that if you are anxious that you try calling Disney and explaining to them that you are really interested in a job there and that you were interviewed and put on the wait list and you would like to know about how long the list is and when you should expect to hear from them, etc.
