Is Disney World A Real Vaction?? (Read Details first)?
I mean, im going to vacation there in November, and i love theme parks and roller coaster and all that, but going to a bunch of parks seems like it will just be running around as fast as you can, does not seem like a real vaction. We will be ridin in a car to get there, and that will take 8 hours and we are planning on driving 6 hours the first day, hotel, then 2 hours the next. That dosent seem relaxing to me? Does anyone feel the same way?
We went in November (wasn’t Thanksgiving) and there was nobody there…it was a wonderful vacation. Being born and raised in Williamsburg, VA and worked for Colonial Williamsburg, the absolute best advice I can give you to have a great vacation is to just do some things you want to do and enjoy what you are doing.
Don’t fall into the mindset…I’m paying $40, $50, $60, whatever, for a ticket so if I don’t do everything I didn’t get my money’s worth.” Really you are paying for a day of entertainment and enjoyment. Even if it only results in doing maybe 5 or 6 very enjoyable things. I’ve seen countless tourists try so hard to do everything, that they end up enjoying nothing. Yes, they get to check off their list that the went to XXX, but they really didn’t see or enjoy it.
Just be relaxed, be cool, figure out some things you really want to do and enjoy those things….even if you didn’t get to do 90 other things. You can always go back.
