What do I need for the free Armed Forces Military Salute ticket at Disneyland, DD214?
It says you can either get them on base or directly at the main ticket window. You can be active or retired as long as you were still active after Jan 1, 2008. It just doesn’t say what ID is required if you’ve been discharged.
I am actually reading the sheet right now. You have to be either active duty or retired U.S. Military personnel. It’s from Jan 4-Dec 23 2009 (disneyworld) Jan 4-Jun 12 09 (disneyland) so if you fall into active duty or retired just call 407-556-6397 this is there public relations office at disney world. Disney land is 714-781-4500.
I read that part and it says for national guard or reservists who had been activated during the time of 1 jan- 23 dec 09, I would assume that the offer holds for them as long as they still have a military ID card and are in the military still, but I don’t know if they are going to make it available for people who have already been discharged from the military. Either or, just call the numbers listed because they can give you the best answer on that one and tell you what you have to do, maybe all they need is the DD214.
