Was there ever going to be a Disney World in Italy?
I was watching “Pawn Stars” and a woman brought in a set of 12 frosted glass Disney character figurines. She said that the person she brought it from told her that they were for a Disney world in Italy that never happened. Was there any truth to that?
When they were drawing up plans for Euro Disneyland near Paris, they were originally going to have it located in the Southeast of France near Italy. They had to choose a different location though after they discovered that the land was too soft or weak to support that big of a facility. The person from the show may be thinking of that.
