How much for an Orlando Trip?
I have a few questions to be made. Ok so me and 4 other friends are planning to go to Orlando florida next Summer, 4 of us will be 18, 1 will be 17. I think we are planning to stay at a Disney resort French quarter or something like that, I checked and it was 149 a night. If we want to stay 6 nights and go to 3 disney parks, typhoon lagoon , and a 1 day 2 park ticket to universal studios/islands of adventure, how much would it all cost? I am kind of new to this so I am also wondering what the food costs would be. And every time I go to their website they always give me the wrong hotel, like I tried seeing how much a 6 night trip would be at the french quarter and they kept giving me how much the contemporary resort would be.
Okay I am going to break up your question into a couple of parts.
1) Buy your Disney tickets together with your room package. Add on the water parks + fun option to your park tickets. I also recommend doing the park hopper and dining plan, it will save you money.
2) A 1 day 2 park to Universal is $84, before June 30th. After that it goes up to $95 or something.
3) Food costs will be $14 and under at a counter service and more expensive at the sit downs. The dining plan gives you a snack (breakfast), one counter service & 1 sit down per person per day. This is a great deal – especially because of your age, it will save you a ton.
You won’t be able to get the right price until they release the booking dates for 2010. I recently priced out a similar trip and it ended up being about $1000 each including spending money, and there were 4 of us. I hope this helps!
