Orlando Disney Hotels Deals

Can you help me plan a trip to Universal Studios Orlando and Disneyworld?

We’re college students from California looking for a deal.

Can you help me plan a trip with the following?

at least:
1 day Universal Studios Wizarding World of Harry Potter
3 day Disney World

We are also looking for a place to stay.

Can you recommend hotels, deals, or give us links to help plan our trip?

We’ve never been to Florida and don’t know what to expect. Also, since we’re in college we want to spend as little as possible.

Ten points to the person who is the most helpful.
Also, we are going in late May.

as you have given nothing in regards to dates there isn’t much anyone can do in regards to pricing.

what i will tell you is
value resorts within disney are your best option for not having to drive or rent a car. you can also “drink your way” through epcot (if you’re 21+) and not have to worry about driving home.
Universal property hotels — stay at one if there are 4 of you…. you can spend 2 days there and should you will be able to do both parks. by being in the on site hotels it might cost more HOWEVER you have access to getting into the park early AND your room keys are “fast passes”. we did that and we were on the main potter ride TWICE before the park opened to the public — it was awesome!

frozen butter beer – $4.50-$7 — outstanding
pumpkin juice – nasty IMO

pack one suitcase with your own snacks and munchies, even bottled water! that will save you loads of money. you can even pack soda — i do when i go overseas as they don’t have my favorite diet sodas!!
