Disney’s Animal Kingdom or Disney’s Hollywood Studios?
So, I’m thirteen years old and I’m going to go to Walt Disney World in a week with my 3 brothers (ages 2, 9, 13), cousins (ages 9, 13), my parents, aunt, and uncle. We have a 3 day pass and are definitely going to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, but we are unsure if we should go to either Animal Kingdom or Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We will probably take a vote to decide which one we will go to, but I’m kind of stuck between the two. Opinions please?
Animal Kingdom is more like a big zoo. Animals are where the food and shade are, which is RARELY where you are going to be. There’s only a handful of rides.
My advice? GO TO HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS! There’s a LOT to do there for people. They’ve got a bunch of rides and attractions such as Tower of Terror (love) and Rock N’ Rollercoaster (LOVE), but they’ve also got the Star Tours 3D attraction that your brothers will LOVE. Not only that, but they could do the “Jedi Knight” school thing they have every so often, where they learn to become a Jedi… and they get a surprise visit from Darth Vader and Storm Troopers. Any Star Wars fan will LOVE it, and boys especially usually love that sort of thing.
I’m much more into Star Trek, but I LOVE Star Tours anyways. Your Dad and Uncle will probably like it, too. And, so will you and your Mom and Aunt. It’s fun no matter how old or what gender you are.
Also, check out the Lights! Motors! Action! Stunt Show. I did it for the first time a few weeks ago, and I LOVED IT. They basically do all these CRAZY stunts with cars and motorcycles. There’s some fire and fireworks, but it’s fairly tame. I thought it was awesome! (But when you do it, do the later afternoon show– something like 4:30. The sun will have gone over your head, so you can see the show without the sun being in your eyes.
There’s still a lot more rides, but there’s awesome restaurants, too. Go visit Pizza Planet from Toy Story. I’m 25, but honestly, I loved it so much because I LOVE Toy Story. (Hey, I was only 9 when it came out…)
Go there, you won’t regret it at all!
