Orlando attractions @ Disney & Universal – Can you please rate them?

Hi,

Me and my wife (we’re 34 and 29 respectively) are from the UK and we’re going on holiday to Orlando and we’re counting the days! (Only 11 days left!)

We’ll be staying for 14 days and have tickets to the following attractions :

Walt Disney World
Seaworld
Acquatica
Busch Gardens
Magic Kingdom
Epcot
Disney MGM Studios
Animal Kingdom
Universal Studios
Universal’s Island of Adventure

A) We’ve never been to the USA and we’d like to have your opinion on these attractions, in terms of the MUST-see’s/do’s. Can you please list them from 1-10, starting with the best/most fun attraction.

B) Also, which of those attractions are the best ones to visit on a rainy day? I mean, some attractions might have more indoors entertainment than others?

WOW! You are really going to shove it all in, aren’t you? Well, Disney is my favorite, and it is the four parks – Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. You will need a minimum of one day per park. And you will likely want to go back and spend another couple of days at your favorite parks.

Universal is my next favorite. It is made of two parks – Universal Studios and Islands of adventure. You will need just one day per park here.

Sea World and Aquatica are both one-day parks. Personally, I don’t like water parks and I am not really a Sea World fan, either.

Busch Gardens is a distance from Orlando, so I assume you have planned for transportation – you’ll probably have to rent a car or pay a serious fee. It’s a one-day park, maybe two.

I would say that Sea World is your best bet on a rainy day, because the park only has a couple of rides and is mostly made up of animal exhibits which have indoor viewing. Universal Studios has mostly indoor rides. But really, all the parks have things to do on rainy days. The parks are not going to shut down because of rain, so as long as you don’t mind getting wet, just keep going!

I don’t know how many days you have purchased to each attraction, but do yourself a favor and build in a couple of days to rest! This schedule is going to be seriously exhausting, and you will need some days where you just sit around your hotel.
