Is Universal Studios losing the Incredible Hulk Roller Coaster?
I just got wind that Marvel Comics was purchased by Walt Disney. Does that mean that Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure will lose the rights to have the Incredible Hulk Roller Coaster?
No, just the name of the roller coaster.
They can keep the Hulk name as long as their licensing agreement stays active. Since its main competitor owns the licensing rights now, they most likely won’t renew the agreement when it expires, but that doesn’t mean the park could just change the name to something unrelated to the Marvel universe, like Emerald Rocket, Green Lightning, or Fluffy: the Disgruntled Coaster.
