Do you live or have ever lived in Orlando, Florida?

If so, I could help a lot. I am writing my thesis on Walt Disney World Resort and would like the residents of Orlando to give me some personal opinions about WDW and how it affects (if it) may be positive, nothing negative! Yes I was born in Orlando and counties to live a couple out of WDW. You can send me the questionnaire through my profile if you like, and I'll try to answer as best I can. WDW-largest employer of people who walk around as characters, ticket takers, people in restaurants and hotels, etc. They also provide many, many people in the area. which are not usually spend all their time in the parks from head to our beaches, Kennedy Space Center to the malls. Your $ $ $ are essential to our economy and are an important part of why we have no state income tax in Florida. Now I can not deny that trying to drive through the areas of tourist attraction is a pain in the butt, congestion on the amount of people, also the fact that Most of them have no idea where to go can be aggravating, but it is only part of the package. One thing Disney does that benefit themselves, but not the economy surrounding is sold in packages that people stay on the property, eating on the property, and essentially never leave the property. Ideal for Disney and the people who work there, but not so good for the beaches, and the other parks, malls, etc. Now, at home, I've been to Disney World just 3 times in my life, the last time in 1994. It is too expensive and the Magic Kingdom does not really thrill me. MGM Studios (98) was fine, Epcot (1991) was not bad, but Disney is very few of my dollars directly. People with young children can be taken more often, but Disney is not really that big of a deal for those of us who live near him. I hope this helps a little.
