As a parent what would you do if?
Your son dropped out of school, hung out in the garage and drew mouse pictures all day? Walt Disney did. I’m facing a similar problem.My high school age son is failing most of his courses including PE. He only has a couple of friends (friends that just watch his dust).He took up the piano 1 1/2 years ago. All he does with his time is aerial gymnastics (he’s now in great physical shape) and piano. I go to bed at mid night and he’s on the piano, I wake up 8:00 in the morning and he’s been on the piano all night ( no sleep). Lunch time at school he plays his digital battery op, piano next to the street but inside the schools fence. He attracted passing business people, they stop and listen. Well, he has been approached, media people (UPI) and Warner bros. is going to drive him to a musical sound stage, they are interested in one of his comps. Possible for an upcoming unnamed mafia based movie.
He will find his place. We all have our place. Don’t worry too much. He will experience what is necessary.And become who he is meant to be … One day
