Going to find a job with Walt Disney World ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Need all advice. My wonderful wife is letting me go chase a dream. On September 16th I’ll fly to Orlando to see what the next chapter in life has to offer. I’ve always wanted to entertain children through Disney but was afraid of losing the magic crossing over to the other side. My Wife and kids will move to Florida after I have established a foundation for us all Oh and of course after the house sells.
ANY ADVICE ANYONE??? Thank you in advance!

well good for you we all want to live a dream. I am a cast member for the last 10years in entertainment but it is not my full time job. I worked full time for 6mths while I waited for a transfer to Orlando with my financing job. I have been PT and seasonal ever since. Anyway with a family you will not make enough money to support all of you in entertainment. If you have a professional dance background and performance record you have a chance to be equity but they still don’t make a ton of money. Entertainment runs about 7.00 per hour. I suggest you go down there and apply see what is available and see what you are offered. Based off that make your decision you know what your family needs to live on so no one can tell you what is right in that arena.

It is great working there and fun and a dream and a job so feel it out before you ship the family down for good. If the pay is not enough have them hire you as a seasonal employee you will only have to work limited hours a year as little as possibly 1 shift to keep it and you can go down and get your fix when you want to and not move the family.
