Walt Disney World Vacation?

So, I’m 13, my sister is 7, & my mom & stepdad are driving from Indiana to Disney World in June!
1) What should I bring to occupy myself on the 17 hour drive?!
2) Where should we stay? Like what hotel?
3) How was your experience at the park??

If you are doing just Disney parks and this is your first time, I would highly recommend staying at a Disney hotel. The cheapest ones are the value resorts, and they are all pretty much the same. And you can spend more money and get a little nicer place and all kinds of perks and themeing at the hotel, if you plan to spend any time at the hotel.
I love Disney, been more times than I can remember. You should realize that it is huge, 4 parks and 2 water parks, plus countless other activities. Do yourself a favor and invest in a guidebook or two to help you plan – this will help you occupy yourself between now and then, too. Birnbaum’s is a good beginner book, and Passporter is great for helping you plan. Also visit http://www.allearsnet.com to plan and prepare.
